Send a Schoology direct message to everyone in a course
Sometimes posting a course update is not what you need from Schoology. Did you know there's a quick way to send a direct message to all of the users enrolled in a course? Or even to all of the admins of a course? Or even all of the parents of the users in a course?
I knew this was possible, I just had not figured it out until yesterday. This can be very helpful and time-saving. In addition to text-based messages, you can also attach files, links, Resources, and audio/video recordings.
Step 1: Select the course that you want to send messages to.
Step 2: Select "Course Options" located below the course picture, then select "Send Message" from the menu.
Step 3: Select recipients.
This is where you can select who you want to message. The options are: All Members, Admins, Members and Parents.
Add in your message and attach any additional files, links, Resources or audio/video recordings and then you're set.
